Mentergy Tests Standard Using Learnframe
Mentergy tested SCORM1.2 compatibility on Learnframe’s Learning Management System

Draper, UT — September 13, 2001 — Learnframe™, the leading developer of KnowledgE Commerce™ and e-Learning infrastructure technologies, today announced that Mentergy™, a full service worldwide e Learning company, successfully tested their new product Xtreme™ for SCORM 1.2 compatibility using Learnframe’s infrastructure.

Mentergy’s search for a product that could test for SCORM 1.2 compliance led them to Learnframe, a leader in the e-Learning market. Xtreme, Mentergy’s new learning content management system, was shown to be compatible, interoperating with the Learnframe’s system within 15 minutes.

“I was extremely impressed with the ease of integration to the Learnframe system,” said Ken Brower, Chief Technology Officer at Mentergy. “We were able to publish and import courses into the Learnframe system in a matter of minutes. The Learnframe team is great to work with and the quality of their products is impressive.”

Learnframe demonstrated their superiority in compatibility with standards at “Plugfest 4” where they were one of three LMS providers to show interoperability with the latest draft of SCORM 1.2. In addition to SCORM, Learnframe is currently involved with other standards including, but not limited to: AICC, LRN, IMS, IEEE, DCMI, ARIADNE, EdNA and GEM.

“Learnframe supports standards, but is not reliant on standards – we go well beyond standards compliancy. Our systems have the capability of launching, tracking, and managing non-standard and proprietary courses, as well as enabling other learning management systems to do the same,” said Curt Kanahele, Director of Software Development at Learnframe. “We provide a solution that helps organizations succeed with their current courseware and with future e-Learning advancements.”
