Lucent's online courses have eliminated geographic boundaries typically associated with training and removed the burdens of scheduling instructors and locations, course availability and class space limits. 

Customers now have the freedom of selecting when they want to take the course and the rate at which work is performed. The Lucent VitalSuite course is comprised of 19 models, which typically average 40 minutes each in duration. Customers can access the course anytime and complete the courses at their own pace. Another benefit of on-line training for customers is the ability to repeat the entire course or an individual module. In addition, Lucent has greater control over course content, and lesson content can be updated instantly providing customers immediate access to the latest material.
