Draper, UT - June 11, 2001 - ReadyGo(TM) Inc., creator of the easiest
and fastest authoring tool for building e-Learning web courses, today
announced a value-added reseller (VAR) agreement with Learnframe(TM),
a global provider of e-Learning infrastructure technology to corporations,
government agencies and higher education facilities. Under the terms of
the agreement, Learnframe will incorporate the ReadyGo Web Course Builder
(WCB) as a content authoring tool in its e-Learning infrastructure offerings.
"We wanted to complete our suite of products by adding an easy-to-use,
cost-effective content authoring tool for our e-Learning customers,"
said Michael Memmott Sr., CEO and Chairman of the Board for Learnframe.
"The ReadyGo WCB is a great addition to our product offerings. It
is highly intuitive. You don't have to be a programmer or authoring expert
to create course content."
Courseware developed with the ReadyGo WCB interacts easily with both
Pinnacle and Nebo, two highly acclaimed learning management systems from
Learnframe. This seamless integration makes it easy to track students'
test scores and other learning data through a simple pull-down menu option.
"We're delighted that a leading provider of e-Learning technologies
is working with us," said Anita Rosen, CEO of ReadyGo, Inc. "Together,
ReadyGo and Learnframe place powerful tools at the disposal of those needing
to create e-Learning sites. ReadyGo WCB now accomplishes in seconds what
used to take professional course developers weeks of programming time
to create. By choosing Learnframe in a simple pull-down menu, courses
created in ReadyGo WCB integrate seamlessly with Learnframe's Nebo and
Pinnacle systems."
ReadyGo Web Course Builder
ReadyGo WCB is an easy-to-use and inexpensive web authoring tool for creating
e-Learning courses. A professional training company typically charges
$25,000 to $150,000 to produce a course. ReadyGo reduces those costs to
between $495.00 to $5,000, depending on graphics required. ReadyGo WCB
eliminates the complexity and staffing requirements previously associated
with e-Learning sites and courses. A single subject matter expert can
now create a course that once required a staff of 10 or more programmers,
pedagogy experts, and others, reducing design time by 80 to 90 percent.
The pedagogy is built into ReadyGo WCB and what the author enters in text
is automatically translated into HTML output appropriate for intranet
or Internet sites.
