DRAPER, Utah - May 24, 2001 - Learnframe, the leading developer of KnowldegeE-Commerce
and e-Learning infrastructure technologies, Thursday announced James J.
Sullivan as the new senior vice president of worldwide sales.
As senior vice president of worldwide sales, Sullivan will be responsible
for the execution of tactical global sales strategies while meeting or
exceeding revenue goals. The e-Learning industry is gaining global recognition
and interest, and Learnframe is on the national and international front
lines.
Learnframe has earned local and national respect and has experienced
favorable acceptance in foreign markets such as Asia and Europe. With
a recently opened London office and partnerships throughout the world,
Learnframe is successfully expanding its presence.
"e-Learning is revolutionizing the way people learn all over the
world. A course taught at a university in California can be accessible
to a student on the other side of the world,'' said Mike Memmott Sr.,
chief executive officer and chairman of Learnframe. "With such widespread
activity, Learnframe will look to Mr. Sullivan to establish global strategies
and realize them.
"We feel that Learnframe will gain a valuable advantage with him
overseeing our Worldwide Sales operations.''
Sullivan joins Learnframe with over 20 years of proven success in the
software industry. As senior director of OEM sales for North America at
Novell Inc., Sullivan established a sales channel that grew from $40M
to over $200M annually and serviced customers such as IBM, Dell, Compaq
and AT&T.
He served as vice president of worldwide sales at Bristol Technology
Inc. and held top sales positions with New Era of Networks. Most recently
at Kanisa, he built a sales force and a significant business pipeline
for them in the eastern half of the country.
At Learnframe, Sullivan will leverage a sales force and reseller channel
to make Learnframe the standard in the e-Learning industry. Sullivan received
his bachelor's of science degree in business administration from the University
of Connecticut.
"My vision for sales and for Learnframe is to create a sales force
and a reseller channel that will allow Learnframe's technology and products
to become the global standard in the e-Learning industry,'' said Sullivan.
