Draper, UT-- August 31, 2000 -- Business is booming for Learnframe, the leading developer of e-Learning infrastructure technologies. As a result of increased demand for its learning management software (LMS), the Pinnacle Learning Manager™ (PLM), and its other e-Learning infrastructure technologies, Learnframe has increased its workforce to 110 employees. Company leaders expect this number to reach nearly 200 employees before YE 2000.
"In order to meet our aggressive objectives we decided we needed some help," said Mike Memmott, Sr. CEO and Chairman of Learnframe. "The fact that our company has grown five-fold in the last year is not only a testament of the great products and talent we have as a company, but also to the growth of the e-Learning market."
According to Memmott, in just the past few months, the industry has gained enormous recognition.
"Enterprises worldwide are coming to realize the impact e-Learning has
on profitability and all other aspects of a business," said Memmott.
"We are proud to be leading this new revolution."
Along with an increase in employees, Learnframe has secured several new partners, including FutureLink, Horizon Live, Convene.com, TE21, e-Com Solutions, InfoSkills, PrimeLearning, and The Webb Group.
To celebrate this new growth, Learnframe is handing out sunglasses to all employees to support the theme adopted from the 1980's song by rock band, Timbukthree, "Our future's so bright, we've gotta wear shades."
Learnframe was founded in 1992 initially as a developer of authoring
and management tools. It later focused most of its efforts on developing
an open architecture learning management software (LMS) tool, the Pinnacle
Learning Manager (PLM), which is now the only LMS tool with unlimited
connectivity. Learnframe currently leads the market in LMS and e-Learning
infrastructure technology. With its tools, enterprises can openly connect
all TBT regardless of vendor to PLM and thus automatically launch, track
and score courseware via the Internet, intranet or LAN system. Learnframe
also produces the technology that allows enterprises to build customized
learning centers upon an open architecture. The Learnframe Learning Center,
www.learnframe.com/learning,
is a comprehensive hosting service whereby enterprises can access thousands
of training materials, nearly 170,000 different titles, and PLM. For more
